Vegan Society Trademark
We are very proud that every product we make & sell is certified by The Vegan Society. Their Trademark scheme promotes Vegan products and services through the internationally recognised Sunflower symbol. It ensures that the products which display their trademark neither contain any animal ingredients (or by-products) nor have they or any of their ingredients been tested on animals.
This is important to Blue Labelle as it seems unnecessary to us that any product should exist at the cost of another living being, especially skincare products. It’s a promise that no animal ingredients will ever be included in Blue Labelle products. Nor will we use any ingredient that has been tested on animals, or sell in markets that require animal testing by law.
The Vegan Society is an educational charity that promotes and supports the vegan lifestyle. Veganism is a way of living that seeks to exclude, as far as possible and practicable, all forms of exploitation of, and cruelty to, animals for food, clothing, cosmetics and any other purpose. The Society was formed by Donald Watson in 1944 with a group of vegetarians who recognised the ethical compromises of eating eggs and dairy products.
The Society aims to make veganism an easily adopted and widely recognised approach to reducing animal and human suffering and environmental damage by means of meaningful, peaceful and factual dialogue with individuals and organisations.
